Can I Get a Makeover?!

Welp, the blog has received a little attention tonight and it's lookin' a little jazzed up.  Not sure I'm in love quite yet, but it's definitely different.  I'll keep working on it and see what else I can re-arrange!

Wordless Wednesday

Spoiled

That'd be a good word to describe Miss Kaitlyn. Saturday while I was getting my hair done, my mom took Kaitlyn shopping for a dress for the rehearsal dinner. *Note the word "a" in that last sentence.

Kaitlyn came home with not "a" dress. She came home with FOUR dresses. Yep, that's right, 4. Each of them is adorable and Kaitlyn feels like a princess. God, I love my mother. :)

Easter Preparations

Our family enjoyed coloring Easter eggs tonight! Somehow this simple tradition turned into coloring one of Kaitlyn's shirts...

With this ring...

Kevin and I thought it would be nice to involve Kaitlyn further in our wedding by allowing her to have a ring to symbolize what a special day this will be for our family. She has an absolute blast going through our jewelry store and having our favorite jeweler, Kristin, give her some undivided attention. She had many rings on and off her precious little hand that day - and spent nearly an hour narrowing down her selection. After much thought, she finally decided on a very special ring that she will cherish forever.

Where to begin...?

So, it's a little overwhelming to decide what to post first! I guess I will rewind our lives a month or so...Halloween. I have never been much of a fan of this day. I suppose when I was little, I would get excited about dressing up and (more importantly) getting candy. However, as I have grown up, the entire idea is really kind of strange. Children of all ages getting dressed up in various costumes, walking around asking strangers for candy. Honestly.

However, since the addition of a child to my immediate family - I have grown to enjoy watching her excitement over all the festivities, and so I will soften my heart a little and post some pictures of this (ridiculous) holiday. :)
